Welcome to the Verenti Cornwall Tor Follow KILOTOGO on Twitter
The Verenti Cornwall Tor is the second UCI sanctioned cyclosportive on the 2010 UK calendar after the UCI Verenti Cheshire Cat in March and it's been improved for 2010. For a start there's a subtle name change in that there's no "North" any more to reflect the events continued partnership with the recently unified Cornwall Council; but that's not all, read on:

Routes
Why not take a look at out Tor videos from the link below and sample our fantastic cycling terrain? - it's beautiful even in the winter. The long route option is the only true coast to coast one day cyclosportive in the UK - you'll visit ITV Doc Martin's picturesque Port Isaac on the Atlantic coast and then, eventually, idyllic Looe on the English Channel. Before, after and in between there is mile after mile of gorgeous and peaceful Cornish countryside. There's more - we've looked very closely at the routes, the roads and terrain. With safety and enjoyment in mind and by keeping the best and most popular parts from past Tors we have added some exciting new territory to the routes. This has also made the ride accessible to a wider range of participants. There's now a more gentle run-in to the finish to help wind riders down rather than up! Another improvement is that with many hundreds of riders on the road a general move to clearer, wider but not busier roads. Compared to previous Tors, after riding the 2010 Tor we think you're going to feel less like you have just done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson or given birth to triplets - two genuine comparisons from previous Tor survivors incidentally. Do remember, it's virtually impossible to have anything but a seriously tough cycling challenge in Cornwall due to it's spectacularly hilly terrain.

Entering is easy
Our online entry process is simple, slick, safe and secure. Sign-up with your basic details and entering is then a few clicks away. Our web entry fees have been frozen for this year's recession beating Verenti Cornwall Tor and, don't forget, with KILO TO GO the on-line entry prices you see are the prices you pay - no hidden admin charges or booking fees. When you have entered you're instantly confirmed and entered onto the official list of participant here on our web-site. It's also possible to enter with a good old fashioned postal entry form if you wish, download here

In the meantime
You can study the routes, maps and profiles by clicking the icons below. We have fully interactive maps to study in all kinds of map views, as well as gpxfiles to download and process for your own digital mapping or gps device. We may change the routes slightly between now and the event to make them safer, more enjoyable or because of road-works. More details and content about the event will frequently be loaded here during the winter and you can check the web-site or sign up for our newsletter to be kept right up to date. You can be sure the 2010 Verenti Cornwall Tor will be the biggest and best yet.

See you there!
